Holistic Neurodiverse Counselling

It’s not just talk therapy,  it’s time and space for you to really tune in to what’s happening, both in your mind and in your body, to reduce that overwhelm.


Sometimes we’ll talk things through using traditional counselling approaches. Other times, we’ll work with what your body is telling us, the tightness in your chest, the racing thoughts, the restlessness that words can’t quite reach.

Together, we’ll explore what helps you feel most supported. That might look like EFT tapping to ease tension, breathwork to slow things down, or different mindfulness techniques to bring you back into balance.

Each session is guided by what’s present for you in the moment, blending evidence-based counselling with body-based practices to help reduce overwhelm and restore calm from the inside out.

This approach is especially supportive for those who:

​

  • Experience anxiety or constant stress

​

  • Are neurodivergent (including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and or have diverse learning needs)

​

  • Have unregulated nervous systems

​

  • Struggle with task avoidance or shutdown

​

  • Engage in masking or feel emotionally overloaded

​

  • Display needs-based behaviours

Transitional Support

Life transitions can feel significant, particularly for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults navigating milestones such as finishing school, starting a new program, beginning employment, or moving into independent living.

​

These stages often involve heightened emotions, uncertainty, and complex intake or assessment processes.

​

I provide practical guidance, regulation support, and structured planning to help make transitions smoother and more manageable.

​

Here’s how I can help:

​

  • Intake and Assessment: Working alongside you to complete intake assessments, gather required documentation, and clearly outline your needs and goals so you feel prepared and organised moving into your next service.

​

  • Transitional Planning: Preparing for before, during, and after key milestones to reduce overwhelm and create a clear, supportive pathway forward.

​

  • Ongoing 1:1 Support: Providing consistent, personalised support to ensure everyone involved is working together in a way that feels coordinated and aligned.​

For many parents and carers supporting neurodivergent children, teens, or adults, life can feel like you’re constantly “on.” Between work, appointments, school drop-offs, and daily responsibilities, it’s easy to feel burnt out, stretched thin, and unsure how to keep going.

This service is for those moments when you’re doing everything you can but need support to make it feel lighter and more manageable. Together, we focus on practical tools, structure, and guidance to reduce overwhelm and help you feel more regulated.

That’s where this service bridges the gap, helping you go from feeling exhausted and unsure to feeling supported, capable, and equipped to handle what’s next.
