Supporting neurodiverse children, teens, adults, and their families is something I am deeply passionate about.
As a neurodiverse counsellor and specialist, I have had the privilege of working within the disability sector for over 10 years, supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families through different stages of life. Through these experiences, I have seen firsthand the difference that the right support, understanding, and connection can make, not only for the individual, but for the entire family.
Throughout my career, I have supported individuals to navigate life transitions, build independence, strengthen emotional regulation, and work towards meaningful goals. I have also worked closely with parents and carers, supporting wellbeing, reducing burnout, and strengthening the wider family system.
In addition to working directly with individuals and families, I collaborate with organisations to deliver presentations and training focused on carer burnout, emotional regulation, and nervous system regulation.
Alongside my work in the disability sector, I am deeply passionate about the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system.
Through my experience, I have seen the positive impact that approaches such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), mindfulness, and breathwork can have in helping individuals regulate their nervous system, reduce overwhelm, and develop practical tools that support everyday wellbeing.
